General Manager

Jennifer Hansen joined Comfort Keepers as the General Manager in February 2017, after many years working with Comfort Keepers in the community.  Jennifer provides leadership, direction and is responsible for managing the daily operations. Jennifer is born and raised in the Bay Area and has over 20 years of experience in nursing and business development within the continuum of healthcare here in the East Bay.  She most recently served as the Director of Medical Outreach and Admissions for Hope Hospice in the Tri-Valley. Jennifer also served as President and Education Coordinator for the East Bay Case Management Association. Jennifer feels at home caring for the needs of clients and care providers and finds the most joy in helping others see their own potential and achieve success. Jennifer loves to travel anyplace warm and loves working on new projects to improve quality of care. Jennifer is readily available to help you achieve the best experience possible with Comfort Keepers.

Irania Calero

Client Care Coordinator

Irania manages relationships with our clients and their families, ensuring client satisfaction by making sure our clients and Comfort Keepers are well matched.  Irania works closely with Tom and Jessica to understand your needs.  She also coordinates care services with other providers such as home health, rehabilitation, and hospice case managers.  She works closely with our team to fulfill our pledge of excellence. Irania has over 5 years of experience in care management for the elderly and fiduciary services.  Irania also has been a family caregiver for a close family member who is a breast cancer survivor.

Heidy Monasterio

Client Care Coordinator

As a Client Care Coordinator for Comfort Keepers, Heidy takes pride in helping to deliver excellent home care services, great communication, and transparency of care.  She works closely with the families and seniors we serve in the East Bay to ensure that we are always on the same page with what's best for your loved one.  She has been working in the healthcare field for over 11 years, both as a caregiver and in management positions.  Heidy is very passionate about providing great care for clients through great caregivers, and that all starts with open communication. 

Lisa Friend

Human Resources Coordinator

Lisa is a Nor Cal native, who relocated to the East Bay from Sacramento 2 years ago.  She has over 28 years experience working in Social Services and Elder Care working with deaf, blind, developmentally disabled and elder adults. Lisa also has many years of experience working with dementia and memory-impaired seniors in assisted living facilities.  She truly understand what it takes to be a great care provider.  At Comfort Keepers, Lisa ensures that we hire only the most caring and skilled caregivers.  She understands that to be truly successful in senior care services you must be patient, compassionate, well trained and truly have a heart for caring for others.  Lisa enjoys working with such successful caregivers and a top-notch home care team.  She is always available to provide training to care providers and to help ensure that all home care aides are having the best experience of Comfort Keepers possible.

Linda Lyles

After Hours Liaison

Linda comes from a background of providing housing services to many elderly and disabled clients though out Alameda County for the past 10 years. She understands the hardship of finding quality in home care for a loved one, as she has experienced this personally with her father who suffered from dementia. She is excited to be a part of the Comfort Keepers team, because she is proud of the consistent quality of care and excellent customer service that we provide to our clients. As the After Hours Liaison, she will be available to assist you with your weekend scheduling needs and to answer any general questions you may have about Comfort Keepers in home care services.

Simone Mattox

After Hours Liaison

With over 8 years in the medical field, Simone’s passion is making a compassionate difference through health care services. With previous experience working with seniors as well as disabled youth, she is proud to be a part of a senior care team that continuously demonstrates exceptional quality customer care, while supporting and building relationships with clients and their families during their times of need. Simone understanding that different situations can occur at any hour of the day she is available to assist you when you need answers.

Leila Armas

Operations Coordinator

As an Operations Coordinator for Comfort Keepers, Leila works closely with the Client Care team and handling the operations of the office and special projects.  With a passion for food, Leila graduated from Hospitality and Culinary Arts.  Leila left her career in hotels and restaurants, to take care of her father with Parkinson's disease, and then started a career in healthcare.  Leila has worked with a Skilled Nursing Management company for 8 years in various administrative roles and also served as Regional Chef to improve the quality of food within the Skilled Nursing Facilities.  Leila has a passion for enhancing the quality of care for seniors and always available to help answer any questions you may have about Comfort Keepers in-home care services.
